Fugitive from Slender Man Stabbing Case Flees Group Home

Morgan Geyser, one of two individuals convicted in the 2014 Slender Man stabbing case, has fled from a Madison group home after cutting off her Department of Corrections GPS monitoring bracelet, prompting an active police search with her whereabouts unknown as of Sunday morning.

Madison police are searching for Morgan Geyser after she disappeared from a group home in Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday night, November 23rd. Geyser, who was one of the perpetrators in the highly publicized 2014 Slender Man stabbing case that shocked the nation, cut off her Department of Corrections monitoring bracelet and left the facility around 8 p.m. She was last seen near Kroncke Drive in the company of an adult acquaintance. The Madison Police Department was notified of her disappearance Sunday morning. Geyser had recently been approved for transfer to group home living after spending several years at a psychiatric hospital in Oshkosh. Police have released a recent security video image of Geyser and are urging anyone who spots her to contact 911 immediately.
