Zachery Ty Bryan, 44, who played Brad Taylor on the 1990s sitcom "Home Improvement," was arrested November 29, 2025, in Eugene, Oregon for violating probation tied to his 2023 domestic violence conviction. His fiancée, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, 32, was simultaneously arrested and charged with DUI, three counts of reckless endangerment, and attempted first-degree assault. Bryan is being held without bail at Lane County Jail with a scheduled release date of December 3. This latest incident continues a troubling pattern that began in 2020 with Bryan's first arrest for a drunken dispute with Cartwright, with whom he shares three children. His arrests include two DUI charges in 2024, a January 2025 domestic violence charge, and a 2023 conviction for fourth-degree assault that resulted in his current probation, which doesn't expire until October 2026.
