Hosea 6:1

Hosea 6:1. El Versículo del Día, Jueves, 17 de septiembre de 2026, con una breve reflexión.

VENID y volvámonos á Jehová: que él arrebató, y nos curará; hirió, y nos vendará.

Hosea 6:1

Qué significa este versículo

It is a call for a wayward people to turn back to God, trusting that the same God who let them be wounded will also heal them.

Hosea was a prophet in the northern kingdom of Israel during a time of unfaithfulness and coming judgment. These are words he puts on the people's lips, a summons to return to God after a season of being broken. The striking image is that God "has torn" and will "heal," that the wounding and the mending come from the same hand.

In its setting this is about a nation facing the consequences of turning away and being invited home. It captures a pattern the Bible returns to often: that hardship can be what finally turns people back toward God.
