What Philippians 4:13 means
It means Paul can face any circumstance, plenty or hunger, because Christ gives him the strength to endure it, not because he can achieve anything he wants.
Paul writes this verse in the middle of describing contentment. He has just said he learned to be content whether well-fed or hungry, with plenty or in need. The strength Christ supplies is the strength to stay steady through any condition.
